TIM BONES
A memoir of my father, Tim Gash. A gentle man who searched for peace and the meaning of life. He had more than his fair share of trials, and lived what he said was a 'good innings'. From stretcher bearing in two major battles in WWI, to obtaining a licence to busk on city streets at the age of 90, Tim could never be slowed down. He was possibly the oldest radio jock, running a small programme about music in the early hours of the morning up to the age of 86. A man of many talents and all of them used to better the life of someone else, or please the God that he had for many years lost sight of. In coming back to Jesus, he said, that 'Jesus only had three years to do his Father's work, so I will use whatever time I have to store treasure in heaven.'
