The play on words fits. I want to salt my fiction books with a Christian message that causes people to think. It may be the exploring of the idea of why God seems to be so present at times, and so silent at others, as in 'The Island of Charia'. Or it may be exploring how our minds can fool us because of strong feelings, but the Spirit will lead us to truth, as in 'The Ember'.
Sometimes salt is painful, when it touches an open wound. But it is cleansing. I don't want my stories to be vague. If they stir people or make them disagree, that is ok. My biography is relished as timely seasoning to some people, and is bitter to others. But it is my story. 'The Woman Who Outran the Devil.'
Salt can be preservative. The biography of my father, 'Tim Bones', is to preserve his memory. I don't expect millions to be interested in this man, born in very humble conditions, and who lived a life of obscurity. But for those who do read his story, and for family, I hope that his journey of faith is challenging and inspiring.
Later I want to include some of the more technical books that I have started, that come from a life of learning through pain, failure and finding hope through God's lessons. They will form part of a subgroup of books, printed by Sayline Solutions.
And then, it is not only my books that I would like to include in this range of printed books. This list will grow with other authors in time too.
